Community Standard

Heritage Without Hatred

Sons of England is proudly concerned with England's history, identity, culture and future. This page sets out how discussion here is moderated.

What is welcome

Immigration, demographic change, border control, government policy and cultural preservation are legitimate subjects for open, evidence-led discussion. Disagreement, including strong disagreement, is welcome. Criticism of policies, institutions and public figures is not the same as hatred of ordinary people, and will not be treated as such.

What is not tolerated

  • Claims of racial superiority or inferiority.
  • Slurs, or dehumanising language directed at any group.
  • Collective blame assigned to people because of their race, religion or nationality.
  • Celebration or encouragement of violence, against anyone.
  • Targeting individuals because of a protected characteristic rather than something they have said or done.

How this is enforced

Comments that breach this standard may be removed, and accounts that repeatedly breach it may be blocked. This is not applied to silence criticism of policy, government or institutions—it is applied to protect the space from racism, dehumanisation and hatred directed at people.

The line, stated plainly

We can stand up for our country without hating those who came from somewhere else.
